The session break down:
-Hair and make-up takes about an hour; this is an optional treat at $50 and will be paid directly to the MUAH. Bring hair accessories if you want to use them, we'll take care of the rest.
-The photo session will last approximately two hours. You may have as many clothing changes as you want. We offer multiple background colors and props to chose from.
-A week later you will view your selection of edited images. Once selected you will chose from a variety of final products including prints, wall stand-outs, books and calendars. You may purchase your digital images for an additional fee.
-The cost is a minimum of a $250 purchase. There is no sitting fee involved. All you pay for is your final products, of which you get to mix and match. For example, for $250 you could order a 12-page calendar, an 8x10 wall standout, an 8X10 print and a set of four wallet prints, or you could just purchase a book and a couple prints. If there are two or more clients, it's just a $200 minimum order.
-What to bring: Anything that makes you feel glamourous and sexy, dresses, lingerie, unique clothing items, one-of-a-kinds, or even something as simple as a white shirt or that Van Halen tee from the 80s. The level of undress is totally up to you, but the more items you bring the more variety you will have to choose from. Also, don't forget shoes, hosiery and accessories.
To book a portrait session, a $100 deposit is required. This money will go toward your minimum $250 order upon completion of the photo session. The rest of the payment may either be made in cash, or you will receive a money request via PayPal before receiving the final products. The initial deposit will not be returned if you choose to cancel your appointment or refuse products. If you need to reschedule your session, the deposit may be transfered with advance notice. We are very understanding and want to make your experience the best it can be, so don't hesitate to voice any concerns.
About Retro Perspective Studio:
Auliya started Retro Perspective Studio in 2010 to give women a chance to express themselves. At a young age Auliya struggled with her confidence. While taking self-portraits she came to realize what a lovely girl she was, and wanted to share this experience with others. Although her passion lies in the 1950s pin-up girl era, she wants the studio to be about empowering women through their own wardrobe. No matter your age, ethnicity or body type, the sexiest thing a woman can have is confidence!
